Our Story: It all began with TIlly

If you have a furry friend who loves exploring the great outdoors, you’ll be thrilled to learn about the real-life adventures of a chihuahua-cross rescue named Tilly that inspired Adventure Doggo.

Tilly always loved adventure. A Chihuahua, Chinese-Crested, something-something cross, she was an enigma and a legend. It came as little surprise then, when popping her on my motorcycle gas tank for the first time, that she didn’t bat an eyelid. I moved off slowly to guage her reaction and her reaction was that of a dog who’d been riding her entire life. She was a natural, and from that point forward, riding the motorcycle became one of her favourite activities and it wasn’t unusual to find her sitting in the garage next to one of them.
 
I didn’t know it at the time, but it was Tilly’s love of motorcycles that paved the way for Adventure Doggo as I made her her own special riding gear.
 
Fast-forward to today where Adventure Doggo is the culmination of all our Tilly inspired passions. A place where great products aren’t the whole story – looking after our natural playground and those that play within it WHILE creating great products is why Adventure Doggo exists. To this end, looking for new and better ways to reduce our environmental footprint while committing a significant portion of profits to animal welfare is the driving force in this continuous passion project – all thanks to the inspiration of one special rescue dog named Tilly.

It’s All About the Doggos

Adventure Doggo may be a small – a one-man-band in fact – but our goals are huge. Maybe one day, Adventure Doggo might pay the bills but right now, its about giving all we can to the doggos that need it most. Every time you purchase an Adventure Doggo product, a significant portion of that sale is donated to animal welfare. Included in each box, is a mini-certificate letting you know who you helped with your purchase.

Looking After Our Playground

From product to packaging, the recipient of an Adventure Doggo product is going to feel special. We try to stay true to our ethos of minimising our environmental footprint while creating presentation that’s sure to impress. Packed in an unbleached carton, nestled in shredded kraft paper, and covered with tissue, your Adventure Doggo product is not only practical, it’s a bit posh! What’s more, we’ll include a mini-certificate to tell you what cause your purchase allowed us to donate to.
